Flawlessly Removing Eye Makeup

THE BENEFITS OF LEARNING HOW TO FLAWLESSLY REMOVE EYE MAKEUP

1. Avoid having dark or darker under eye circles that comes from removing heavy eye makeup or mascara on your top and lower lashes.

2. Avoid dragging/pulling the skin around the eye area hence, minimizing fine lines. (crow’s-feet)

3. This technique concentrates on the eye area alone, so makeup on the rest of the face will remain intact. Especially good for people who only needs to change eye makeup but don’t want to redo / ruin the makeup that’s already on the face.

Please take note of the following:

*Remove Contact Lens before removing eye makeup & cleaning your face .

*Remove False Eye Lashes.

*Always clean the eye area first before removing makeup on the rest of the face.

Here is the step by step tutorial:

STEP ONE

Use any eye makeup remover you want. I use oil & water based eye/lip makeup remover.

—————–

STEP TWO

Get a cotton pad and fold it in half and only apply eye makeup remover on the edge.

~I use special fiber cotton pads as they do not leave any  fine thread of cotton on my eye area, the unique fiber enhance moisture holding capacity, so I only need to put few drops of makeup remover, compare to ordinary cotton pads that absorb a lot of product.~

—————-

STEP THREE

Get another cotton pad and repeat STEP TWO

—————

STEP FOUR

Place one of the folded cotton pad under the lower eye, make sure it is very close and below the lower lash line.

————–

STEP FIVE

With the other cotton pad, place it over the top of the upper eye and gently wipe down the eye makeup, starting from the outer corner of the eye, to the middle & until the end.

~This technique creates a barrier or a ‘sandwich effect’ on the upper and lower lashes, so the eye makeup & mascara goes to the two cotton pads and NOT on your skin.~

————–

STEP SIX

Repeat until the eye area is clean.  You only need to use two cotton pads for this whole process.  Just keep on folding the cotton pads, dip a little remover & use the clean edge as you go.

—————–

STEP SEVEN

Lastly, instead of closing your eyes and dragging the cotton pads down to remove mascara, use the edge of the cotton pads  with the remover & lightly lift your upper lashes.  Gently wipe upwards in a zigzag motion to remove mascara.

~This trick prevents dark circles from forming under your eye.~

—————————————————–

VIOLA!!!  A SUPER CLEAN LEFT EYE.

OPTIONAL:

~When we do a really heavy SMOKEY EYE  MAKEUP LOOK,  our eyes can get irritated & red; even after we clean & wash our face.  Easy solution is to buy eye drops.  I like using Bausch & Lomb ‘SOOTHE’ eye drops especially since they come in disposable & travel friendly tubes.  Or you can also use ‘Artificial Tears’ eye drops. Two drops on each eye will instantly refresh & flash out any makeup particles that’s inside our eyes. ~

*Pls. consult your Eyecare Specialists if you have  any eye problems prior to using eye drops.*
